This track offers a full set of academic courses with a knowledge-based approach in the field of Surface and Interface Science and Engineering. It loans on the LABEX MANUTECH SISE and the EQUIPEX MANUTECH USD
The study program provides students a level to the state of the art in:
Surface and Interfaces properties,
Characterization techniques of surfaces,
Techniques to create and control surface functionalities in tribology, optics or chemistry
Advanced processes for the manufacturing of surfaces and interfaces at different scales (ultrashort laser engraving, thin films, nanomaterials)
All semesters are taught in English in Saint-Etienne, France.
